Tok had its own tea party on April 15. Wish I'd known about it earlier. A total of five people attended, but in our little town, that's a good turnout. There's still plenty of snow on the ground.
Saturday is the annual Tok Trot, a 10K race. Walkers are welcome also and start at 12 pm from the visitor's center. Runners head out at 1 pm and everyone is welcome to enjoy a picnic at the Kelleys' afterward. This is one of the most fun races of the year and racers come from all over Alaska to enjoy it.
