Tok Alaska Energy Ratings

Alaska has a wonderful program for upgrading homes to higher energy efficiency. Tok has its very own energy auditor (who can also go outside the community to work). He "grades" a home and provides a report about it with suggestions on improvements that will increase its efficiency. He even can tell how much efficiency will be added. Then the homeowner does the improvements and the state of Alaska will provide up to $10,000 in rebates after a second energy audit and receipts are turned in. It's a great program for home purchasers who may want to make improvements to a home they are buying.
